He pauses for a moment, practically disgusted as he catches sight of his reflection once more. “That’s why I don’t wanna answer it,” Sora sighs, running a hand through his discolored hair. “No,” Sora says succinctly, turning back to face the window once more. “You know, Sora, I’ve been keepin’ count, and that’s the tenth time since we set out that your phone’s gone off,'' Jiminy pipes up over the still-blaring device as he comes to stand next to it. This time, however, someone among them finally decides to speak to it. He looks between it and his companions, tensely shaking his head as they offer the same unspoken question. Its cheery ring startles the trio, Sora in particular as he swiftly spins around to face the seat he’d left it sitting in. In the end, the quiet melancholy hanging between the group is broken by none other than what interrupted it a few moments before: the Gummiphone. With all of their hearts weighed down with woe as they are, the kind of words that might ease that massive weight are anything but easy to find. And for his part, Sora hasn’t said much either. His companions don’t know what to say they haven’t known what to say since they set out on their own really. As he takes in the unnerving hints of gold in his eyes, the stark streaks of white in his hair, at all of the signs of his slow and steady fall that he simply can’t hide any longer, no matter how much he wishes he still could. They look over their chairs to see he’s found a spot near its window, a darkened hand placed against its glass as he stares at his own dim reflection upon it. Donald and Goofy exchange a worried glance upon realizing that the third noise that had filled the air has grown silent that Sora’s no longer pacing around the back half of the ship as he’d been before. It’s only permeated by the soft ongoing rumble of the vessel’s engine, and the various low beeps and chirps of its control panel. The Gummi Ship’s cockpit rests in a state of unsteady, uncertain silence. When it seems they're heading for the final curtain Good deduction never fails, that's for certain!
